He was predeceased by: his parents, William H Sayre and Ruth Sayre (Ross); his wife Joyce Elaine Clawson; his sister Wanda; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Wyant, Velma and Clyde Lincoln.
He is survived by: his sons, Justin Sayre (Stacy) of Linneus, Jeff Sayre (Mendy) of Moberly, William H. Sayre III and Jarred Sayre (Missy) of Milan; his grandchildren, Tabitha Summers (Wade), Jordyn Sayre, Connor Sayre, Maddie Sayre, Amber Sayre, Kendra Sayre, Erin Hinkle (Jaden), Brett Sayre (Ashlyn), Brady Sayre and Avery Sayre; and his great grandchildren, Timberly Elaine Mae Summers, Wesley Robert Ray Summers and Lane Hinkle. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home (120 W 4th St, Milan, MO 63556). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery.
