She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Medenwaldt and Grace Medenwaldt (Ziegelmann); her husband Joe; her siblings, Glen Medenwaldt and Gayle Ahrens; and the father of her children Bob Silvernail.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Weispfenning (Barry) of Minnetonka, MN, Cindy Silvernail of Milo, Kimberly Silvernail of Wahpeton, ND and Lisa Hillyer (Jim) of Bennington, OK; her stepchildren, David Smith, Joseph Smith Jr. and Kristine Smith; her brother Alfred Medenwaldt Jr. of Wahpeton, ND; her sister-in-law Doris Medenwaldt; and her close friend Patricia Wiebusch. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
