It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Skaggs of Mineral Point, Missouri, who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Politte and Lillian Politte (Rulo); her husband Leon Skaggs; and her in-laws, Rachel Shepard (Lloyd), Ronda Adams (Bob), Norma Hedrick (Johnny), Laverta "Bert" Stringer (Herbert "Grassy"), Leroy Politte, Bill Politte, Robert "Bob" Politte (Norma), Mike Politte and Pat Politte.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Skaggs (Barb), Doug Skaggs (Lisa), Scott Skaggs (Tammy), Mitch Skaggs and Traci Wilson (Shawn); her grandchildren, Tyler Skaggs, Isabella Skaggs (Ronnie French), Brenden McClure, Emily McClure, Tyler Griffen (Breanna), Lillie Skaggs, Alexandra Riggs (Chad) and Hunter Wilson (Hailey Allgier); her great grandchildren, Ryley, Heaven, Nova, Anna, Chloe and Genna; her sister Peggy Adams (Gary); her sisters-in-law, Wanda Politte, Connie Politte and Debbie Shepard; and her friend Billie Jo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
