Richard Wilson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Wilson of Mineral Point, Missouri. Richard, born on July 22, 1947, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsworth "Chick" Wilson and Lora Wilson (Ferrell); his wife Barbara "Bobbi" Wilson; and his siblings, Homer Wilson, JoAnn Smith, Charlie Wilson, Billy Wilson, Sandy Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, Mike Wilson, Larry Wilson, Marie Barron and Alice Boyster.

He is survived by: his children, Shawn Wilson (Traci), Terri Sikes (Jason) and Scotty Wilson; his grandchildren, Ty Wilson, Alexandra Riggs (Chad), Hunter Wilson, Hailey Allgier, Pheabie Wilson and Lyric Wilson; and his siblings, Mary Lou Marler, Eddie Wilson (Jeanette) and Dennis Wilson (Jean).

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Redbud Memorial Gardens (Potosi, MO 63664).
