She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Politte and Lula Ellen Politte (Medley); her husband William "Bill" Collins; her brothers, Willard Politte and Johnny Politte; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Politte and Rick Hedrick.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Collins, Jim Politte (Wendy), Tom Collins (Brenda), John Politte (Linda), Cindy Walls (Harold), Dort Cain (James), Ruth Ann Politte and Charlie Collins (Shanah); and her siblings, William "Buck" Politte (Laveda), Rita Hedrick and Glenda Dean (Gary). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
