It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Barrow of Moberly, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Shannon and Mary Shannon (Rhodes). She is survived by: her spouse Chelmer Barrow; her children, Dr. Chelmer L. "Chuck" Barrow, Jr. (Jackie) and Diana Olson (Eric); and her grandchildren, Trey Barrow (Anna), Ryan Olson (Jessica), Aaron Olson (Erin) and Grace Olson. She is also survived by five great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel (1520 E Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Moberly or the Alzheimer's Association.
