He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wood and Mattie Norine Wood (Skinner); his wife Joyce Wheeler; and his grandchildren, Ashlie Grieser and Christopher Opre.
He is survived by: his children, David Wood (Shannon) of Florida and DeAnn Wood-Coffman of Moberly; his granddaughters, Stephanie Warden (Chad) of Moberly and Dr. Colleen Coffman (Michael) of Columbia; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Aubrey, Abel Warden, Charlotte Coffman and CJ Wood.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (101 S 4th St, Moberly, MO 65270).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church of Moberly or Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis, honoring Dale's lifelong commitment to faith, family, and service.
