Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Dale Barnes and Tammy Lee Teel (Barnes); his child Damion Ray Barnes; his wife Katie; his daughter Savannah Lin Marie Barnes; his brother Peter Allen Barnes-Keyes (Risë Kaye); and his sibling's children, Amara Lynn and Brycon Zachariah Barnes-Keyes. He is also survived by three stepsisters; many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
