She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Earl and Eva Fern Brown (Mordecai); her husbands, Dahl White of Joplin and James Fry (JoHo) of Mansfield; her son-in-law James Allen Howard; her grandson J. Layton Howard; and her great grandchild Genesis Riley Smith.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and cousins.
