He was predeceased by: his wife Olga Mae Burlage (Vaughn); his parents, Leo G. Burlage and Marie Arzelia Burlage (Bentley); and his siblings, Charles Burlage and Martha Conley.
He is survived by: his son Jeffery Edward Burlage; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Burlage; his grandchildren, Justin Burlage, Nathaniel Burlage, Jerry Keeton, Nicholas Keeton, Sierra Burlage, Alisha Carver and Kaitlyn Keeton; his great grandchildren, Raelynn Jade Carver and Olivia Faith Carver; and his siblings, Robert Burlage (Tonja), Lawrence Burlage (Kay) and Mary Blonski. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Moberly, Missouri, in honor of James's lifelong faith and devoted membership.
