It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnny Hicks of Moberly, Missouri, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlin N. Hicks and Edith M. Hicks (Baker); his wife Barbara Rafferty Hicks; his parents-in-law, Virgil and Zoa Rafferty; his brother Leon Hicks; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Coureton, Norman Mathis, Edward Pastrovich, Billy Bob Rafferty and Judy Hicks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Warson (Craig) of Blue Springs, MO and Theresa "Terri" Hicks of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Randa Crutcher of London, UK and Caleb Warson; his siblings, Beverly Coureton, Wanda Mathis, Nadine Pastrovich, Charles Hicks (Bonnie), Randy Hicks (Penny) and Bobbi Smith (Dean); and his siblings-in-law, Tom Rafferty and Brenda Rafferty. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cater Funeral Home (1520 E Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Assembly of God (120 W Outer Rd, Moberly, MO 65270).
