She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Gaither and Edna Gaither (Price); her husband Paul Everett Smith; her brothers, Robert Lee Gaither (Fran) and Aubrey Gaither, Jr.; and her son-in-law Fred Adler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Overfelt of Kansas City, MO, Libby Adler of Moberly, MO and Linda Smith of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Jeremy Overfelt (Katie), Chris Adler (Shauna), Geoffrey Overfelt (Shaunna), Scott Adler (Becky) and Carrie White (Dan); and her sister-in-law Pat Gaither. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Patton Funeral Home (121 N Main St, Huntsville, MO 65259). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
