She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Curtis Peterson and Beulah LeeEtta Theobold Peterson; her husband Tom; her sisters, Barbara Peterson, Gwen Spencer and Mary Bruning; and her granddaughter Whitney Briggs.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Lisa) of Moberly, MO, John (Jenny) of Stoutsville, MO and Bob (Beckie) of Mansfield, TX. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
