With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mel S. Coonce of Moberly, Missouri, whose life came to an end on June 23, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Coonce and Lucille Coonce; his wife Teresa Coonce; his son Mark C. Gelina; and his siblings, William Woodrow, Charles, Junior, Freno, Ronnie Dean, Russell Wayne Coonce and Leah Coonce.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin G. Coonce, Christy West, Mel Coonce (Blue Springs), Tammy Hylton of Blue Springs, Dan Coonce (Raymore) and Nathan Gelina; and his sisters, Linda Nichols and Mary Farmer. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
