He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Fowler and Naomi Fowler (Gulick); his wife Arreta Violet Fowler; his granddaughter Susan Marie Knaebel; and his great grandchild Hagan Allen Mattox.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wray Fowler (Danah), Pamela Kay Knaebel (Alan) and Gary Michael Fowler (Gina). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
