He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Ray Turner and Marianna Turner (Davenport); and his brothers, Jimmy and Richard Turner. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Turner of Moberly, Missouri; his sons, Douglas William Turner of Grand Marais, Minnesota, Edward Harrison Turner of Picayune, Mississippi, David Ray Turner (Michele) of Foristell, Missouri and Brian J. Stephanie; and his brother A. Jay Turner (Mary Ann) of Columbia, Missouri.. He is also survived by his wife, sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
