She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Whelan and Agnes Whelan (Little); her husband Robert Brigance; her brother Al Whelan (June); and her brother-in-law Richard McClaughlin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Love (Rob Miller), Melinie Purvis (Kevin) and Melinda Brigance (Tyson "Bear" Bishop); her siblings, John Whelan, Jim Whelan (Marti) and Lucille "Ludy" McClaughlin; and her grandchildren, Holly Bedford (Devin), Nathan Furlong (Ashley Owen), Harley Goeke (Nick), Molly Love, Emilee Bishop, Lynna Purvis, Lanie Purvis, Abbie Bishop and Miley Love. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Maupin Funeral Home (301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
