He is survived by: his wife Sofia Sanchez Perez; his children, Alexis Rivera of Monett, Oscar Rivera of Monett, Alejandra Ortega (Sergio) of Monett, Deysi Rivera of Monett, Sophie Rivera of Monett and Maricruz Hernandez (Homero) of Lehi, UT; and his grandchildren, Christian, Adan, Elizabeth and Mariann Hernandez. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.
A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (405 7th St, Monett, MO 65708). Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
