It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Mosier (Monett, Missouri), who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Catherine leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Granger and Sharon Granger. She is survived by: her husband Emory; and her children, Larry (Lorri Mosier), Hannah, Chester (Venesa Mosier), Sharon (Brandon Wasland), Molly (Jonathan Durbin) and Emmy (William Ostic). She is also survived by three brothers, and sixteen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Fundamental Methodist Church (1701 N 9th St, Monett, MO 65708). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Fundamental Methodist Church (1701 N 9th St, Monett, MO 65708).
