Donald Manning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Manning of Monett, Missouri, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Manning to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Manning and Linnie Manning (Ritter); his wife Sarah Manning; his daughter Judy Ross; his son-in-law Wayne Ross; his siblings, O'Ferrel Manning, Max Manning, J. B. Manning, Ila Mae Garlington and Mary Alice Garlington; and his close friend Pat Fenske.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Nutt (Lynn) of Monett; his grandchildren, Christie Loe-Malone of San Antonio, TX, Cindie Inman of Hot Springs, AR and Matt Nutt of Jefferson City, MO; his brother Charles Murphy Manning of Sparkman, AR; and his close friends, David and Mary Humphrey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
In memory of Don, memorial contributions can be made to the Pierce City Senior Citizens Center in care of the funeral home.
