With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva M. McCormick (Monett, Missouri), born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geneva M. McCormick to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Lee Whisman; her husband Everett Lee; her siblings, Wilda Bray, Imogene Marshall and Jerry Waldon Whisman; her son-in-law Dennis Williams (Carolyn); and her daughter Mary Kay McCormick.

She is survived by : her daughter Carolyn Sue; her siblings, Roger Lee, Richard Denton, Donald Carl and Mary Kay; her children-in-law, Barbara Shirk McCormick (Roger), Sharon McCormick (Richard), Susan Politte McCormick (Donald), Mike Woods (Diane) and Tim McGill (Denise); and her sister Robbie Dean Williams (Sue Thomas). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the memorial contributions can be made to Oak Pointe Monett, Glorieta Adventure Camp or Waymark Church in Monett.

“Denise and Diane, I have such fond memories of your dear mother as I was growing up. What a beautiful, gracious and Godly woman ... she set a wonderful example to all who knew and loved her. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of difficult loss. Her great faith has become sight, and for that I rejoice with you. But, my heart aches for your loss.
