George D. Ballay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George D. Ballay of Monett, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ballay and Betty Ballay (Roder); his wife Norma Ballay; his son Timothy Ballay; and his sister Virginia Dierker (Jerry).
He is survived by: his children, Teri Meier of Alabama, Todd Ballay (Melissa) of Monett and Cody Ballay of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Dexter Ballay (Cassidy), Dash Ballay, Carlin Ballay (Katie), Megan Ballay, Shanan Austin and Mason Ballay; and his brother Howard "Pete" Ballay (Maebel) of Monett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (405 7th St, Monett, MO 65708). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic School.
