He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Mitchell and Joan Mitchell (Smith); his uncle George; and his aunt Mabel Yost. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Mitchell of Monett, Missouri; his sons, Eddie Mitchell (Briseida) of Monett, Missouri and David Mitchell of Monett, Missouri; his grandchildren, Isaac, Talia, Ethan, Trevor and Devin; and his siblings, Craig Mitchell (Connie), Jerry Mitchell and Julie McGrew (Walter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
