It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Marvin Johnson (Monett, Missouri), born in Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Levi Johnson and Alta Edna Plank Johnson; his siblings, Elmer "Bud" Johnson, Mary Fortney and Helen Fritz; and his son James Greggory Johnson.

He is survived by : his sister Elner Medlin of Springfield, MO; his children, Jackie Pollard (Jeff) of Woburn, MA, Shannon Johnson (Rachel) of Spring Hill, TN and Stephen Johnson of Ponca City, OK; and his grandchildren, Ellery Pollard, Sam and Stella Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Monett Senior Center.
