He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Austin and Lois Marie Wormington (McPhail); his wife Mary Helen; and his son Danny Mark Wormington. He is survived by: his son Larry Dean Wormington (Carol) of Alamogordo; and his siblings, Ron Wormington of Monett, Missouri and Vera Coker of Monett, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
