Karyl Sue Vermillion Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karyl Sue Vermillion of Monett, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Curtis Kelly and Betty Jean Kelly (Belch); her husband Jim Vermillion; her daughter Krista Vermillion of Springfield, MO; her siblings, Kerry Kelly (Stacy) of Jenks, OK and Kathy Conley (John Dawson) of Pierce City, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Sean Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly, Trey Kelly, Breeghan Kelly, Kaylee Creech, Jim C. Conley and Kelsy Hall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakin Funeral Home (501 N Elm St, Pierce City, MO 65723). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
Memorials may be made to the Pierce City backpack program in care of the funeral home.
