We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary Francis Shrum of Monett, Missouri, born in Wichita, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid adieu to Mary Francis' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Francis has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Wood and Mary Mae Wood (Heck); and her brothers, Don and Chuck Wood. She is survived by : her husband Gary; and her children, Creston Shrum of Little Rock, Mike Shrum of Monrovia, Warren Shrum of Monett, Missouri. and Stephanie Moore of Carl Junction, Missouri. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home (216 2nd St, Monett, MO 65708). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Christ (1107 N 9th St, Monett, MO 65708).

Memorial donations for Mary may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
