He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Stacy Bishop (Stephen) of Shell Knob, Patrick Schmidt (Amber Ferguson) of Monett and Stephanie Gunter (Jason) of Olathe, Kansas; his grandchildren, Allyson, Camryn, Adalyne "Cooper" Schmidt, Emerson, Ophelia and Bronson Bishop; his siblings, Leo Schmidt (Janice) and Marguerite Butterworth (Bill); and his sister-in-law Joyce Tinklepaugh of Monett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Future Farmers of America or St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
