She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Messinger and Helen Messinger (Fink); her siblings, George Messinger, Johnny Messinger, Charley Messinger and Nancy Messinger; and her father-in-law Dale Shepley.

She is survived by : her children, Ian Shepley (Sabrina) of Monett, Angie Anderson (Terry) of Monett, Megan Gonzalez (Rolando) of Monett and Jessica Hammers (Mark) of Raeford, NC; her grandchildren, Savannah Elrod (Jake), Jedd Anderson, Mia Gonzalez, Zavior Shepley, Turner Martin, Darrion Hammers and Isabel Hammers; her great grandchildren, Karey Anderson, Kennedi Elrod, Kurran Elrod and Kambree Elrod; her siblings, Clyde Messinger, Jr., Helen Freeman (Milton) of Ava, MO and Debbie Hale of Springfield, MO; her mother-in-law Millie Shepley of Butner, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Melody Bain of Butner, NC and Sarah Hardin of Butner, NC. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
