Gary W. Curry Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary W. Curry of Monroe City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Audie Ray Curry and Dorothy Sanders Curry; and his daughter Cheryl Kensey. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Gilmer (Mark), Laura Buckert (Tommy), Lowell Stephen Pogue (LeeAnn) and Scott Pogue (Brenda); his son-in-law Victor Kensey; and his sister Sandy Griffen (George). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
