She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Jones and Ella Mae Scott Jones; her siblings, Hilbert Jones, Howard Jones, Harold Jones and Helen Hayes; and her grandson Justin Cox.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Washington of Hannibal, MO, Krista Dickerson of Dallas, TX, Leland Jones of Hannibal, MO, Jenett Hultz (Chris Nason) of Hannibal, MO, Jenine Pratt (Timothy) of Monroe City, MO and Norman Jones (Rachel Lipp) of Monroe City, MO; her brother Jeff Jones (Stella) of Palmyra, MO; her grandchildren, Preston, Auviar, Shaimeka, James, Julius, Cameron, Keaton, Ace, Amina and Darrius; and her great grandchildren, Myra, Cataleya and Ana-Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Hazel was Baptized at Second Baptist Church of Monroe City, MO, Memorial contributions may be made to O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home for funeral expenses.
