She was predeceased by: her parents, Downing Garnett and Winnie Henderson Garnett; her spouse Thomas Fitzgerald of Bowling Green, Missouri.; her siblings, John Garnett, Don Garnett, Harold Garnett, Beulah Palmer, Lucille Dunn, Maxine Rickell, Gladys Reger and Thelma Schultz; her son-in-law Daniel Spalding; and her pet Sissy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Spalding of Monroe City, MO, Monica King (Charlie) of Warren, MO, Melinda Gastler of Laddonia, MO and Carla Gartner (Mark) of Monroe City, MO; her brother Bob Garnett of Greensboro, NC; her sister-in-law Peggy Garnett of Athens, GA; and her grandchildren, Laura Maas (Gerry), Lisa Kling (Joseph), Betsie Betts (Bobby), Ryan King (Lacey), Chad Gastler (Amy), Brad Gastler (Jenny), Amanda Cheely and Zachary Cheely. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
