It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Carrol Henness of Montgomery City, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Earnest and Leonora Winingham (Lawson); her husband Don Henness; her siblings, G. Richard Winingham and Joann Sheerin; her son-in-law Gary B. Wolke; and her grandson Ryan A. Biggs.

She is survived by: her children, Ricca Carr of Hallsville, Earnest Higgins (Diana) of St. Paul, Stephanie Rowland (Randy) of Nevada, Victoria Biggs (William) of Montgomery City and Clint Henness (Kateryna) of Montgomery City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Krystal Connolly, Christopher Wolke, Kaitlyn Wolke (Bryan), Brigitte Tollett, Travis Carr (Colleen), Adam Carr (Caitlin), Heather Ruel, Holly Higgins, Kristen Armstrong (Randy), Eric Biggs (Valerie), Tessa Henness and Clint A. E. Henness; Jim Lawson of Tekamah, Nebraska..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schlanker Funeral Home (207 Danville Rd, Montgomery City, MO 63361).

Memorial donations may be given to the Ryan A. Biggs Memorial Scholarship Fund.
