He was predeceased by: his parents, Arther William Gilbert and Vera "Daisy" Mae Gilbert (Day); and his parents-in-law, Vincent and Lucille Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gilbert (Robinson); his children, Donnie, Joe, Neil, Laura and Brandy; and his brother James Gilbert (Kaley).
