She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lee Ward and Nellie L. Ward (Peery); her grandson Shaun Sturgeon; her parents-in-law, Felix "Cotton" and Cecil Korman; her son-in-law Pat Zumwalt; her siblings, Kenneth Wayne Ward, Betty Haworth, Margaret "Mag" Grossenhieder and Lea Elkins; and her pets, Rusty, Bubba and Bo.

She is survived by: her husband Tommy Joe Korman; her children, Dianna Korman Zumwalt (Tom Block) of Montgomery City, Linda Korman Cuno (Gary) and Dennis Korman (Margie) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Stephanie Cuno of Montgomery City, Sandy Cuno of Montgomery City, Tammy Vera of Austin, Victoria Hernandez (Tito) of Austin, Samantha Brooks Jay (Levon Ingram) of Vienna and Lindsey Brooks (Darren Brookman) of Montgomery City, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Gabby, Jeremiah, Tito, Makayla, Carson, Lily, Liam and Myla; her sister Helen McKay of Montgomery City, Missouri; her pets, Hershey and Lily; and her caregivers, Jessica and Karen Creech.
