With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Helen Grimwood of Monticello, Missouri, born in Breese, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles George and Henrietta Gertrude "Foppe" Schaefer; her brother Paul Schaefer; and her parents-in-law, Ted and Betty Grimwood.
She is survived by: her husband Don Grimwood of Monticello; her daughters, Lisa Novinger (Kevin) of Quincy and Cheryl Hinrichs (Adam) of Stover; her grandchildren, Owen, Ellie and Isla Novinger of Quincy; and her siblings, Mary Knaebel (Joe) of Moberly, Rita Oliver (Robert) of Wellsville, Karen Spoor (Ray) of Martinsburg, Charles Schaefer (Janet) of Montgomery City, Norbert and David Schaefer (Kellie) of Princeville. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
