He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rotert and Evelyn Bergschneider Rotert; his brothers, Charles Rotert, Cletus Rotert, Kenneth Rotert and Vernon Rotert; and his siblings-in-law, Eunice Rotert, Delores Rotert, Glenda K. Weimer, Glenda A. Weimer, Wilma Weimer, Thomas Kubajak, Alvin Jurgensmeyer, Leroy Weimer, Marion Weimer and Wesley Weimer.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Weimer; his son Montrose; his close friends, DeWayne and Mildred Arthur; his sons, Steven Joseph (Greg) and Gregory; his daughter-in-law Mary Ann of Columbia; and his siblings, Mary Kubajak, Ellen Jurgensmeyer, Eugene Rotert (Roxy), Elmer Rotert (Charlotte) and Dorothy Mead (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
