He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Oelrichs and Ida Oelrichs (Wischmeier); his son Kevin; his siblings, Raymond Oelrichs, Vitula Zimmerschied and Fern Berry; and his brothers-in-law, Junior Zimmerschied and William Berry (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Carla Girkin (Jeff) of Blue Springs, Karen Harmon (Doug) of Bixby, Curtis Oelrichs (Amanda) of Mora and Christine Rice (Jim) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Shannon Harmon Marshall (Matt), Allison Harmon, Megan Rice, Matthew Girkin, John Rice, Kimberly Girkin, Cora Oelrichs and Ida Oelrichs; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Mia Marshall; and his siblings-in-law, Laura Oelrichs of Mora, Kenneth Rehmer (Judy) of Cole Camp and Allen Rehmer (Dee) of Cole Camp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to be given to Christ Lutheran Church in Stover, Benton County Hospice, or St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
