Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Garrel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Lee (Orlene Carlton Drake); and his wife Cynthia Irene "Cindy" Coleman. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Curry of Sikeston and Lora Jordan (Kevin) of Morehouse; his grandchildren, Kelsey Jordan (K. K.), Chelsey Thurman (Damion), Kevin Jordan, II (Tiffany), Britney Mulcahy (Charles) and April Gilbert (Josh); and his uncle Bill Carlton. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McMikle Funeral Home, Inc.- Sikeston (403 N Kingshighway, Sikeston, MO 63801). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
