He is survived by: his spouse Rachiel Wheeler Banks; his daughters, De'Laya Banks and Brionna Flye; his siblings, Melvin Banks (Lillie), Donald Banks (Jean), Oscar Townsend, Larry Townsend (Ann), Marvin Townsend, Sarah Woodson and Abigail Smith (Charlie); his grandson Tyrone Treadwell 3rd; his siblings-in-law, Earnest Wheeler, Ineada Gaines and Penny Banks; and his siblings' children, Rodtree Banks (Tree), Georgia Daniels, Denise McClinton Patterson, Kylee Avance and Karlee Avance. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
