He was predeceased by : his parents, Bersie Lee Tidwell and Claire May Tucker Tidwell; his wife Karen Sue Sturgeon; and his siblings, James Hollis Tidwell (Cub), Anne Evans, Bonnie Ditto, Hassie Sweet, Mary Crowe and Marty Holt.

He is survived by : his daughter Sheila Kay Graham of Morley, Missouri; his siblings, Gene Arthur Tidwell, Donna Tidwell, Charmain van Ryswyk and Faye Krauss; his granddaughters, Amber Boley and Brittney Kitchen; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Boley, Noah Boley, Brock Williams and Elysha Anwar.
