We bid farewell to Dorothy A. Wessel of Moscow Mills, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2026 at the age of 97. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pezold and Martha Pezold (Beck); her husband Al Wessel; her grandson Simon Wessel; and her siblings, Robert Pezold, Marian Busken, Rita Reeves, James Pezold, Raymond Pezold, Paul Pezold, Gregory Pezold, JoAnn Pezold and Cecilia Pezold.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (JoAnn Wessel) of St. Paul, William (Linda Wessel) of Montgomery City, Rosemary (John Dougherty) of Redlands, CA and Richard (Marilyn) of Troy; and her siblings, John Pezold, Elizabeth Dungan and Lawrence Pezold. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
