He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Derb; his parents, Clarence Russell and Iza May Stroud (Hubbard) of Mound City; his wife Tammy Stroud (Moser); his children, Chris (Shalan Stroud), Cindy (Joe Gellings), Sherry Stroud (Anthony Parker) and Tommy (MacKenzie Stroud); his grandchildren, Hailey Bammer, Mason Bammer, Kaden Bammer, Graison Gegen, Chase Gellings, Cash Stroud, Amelia Stroud, Layla Stroud and Charlie Stroud; his family, Russ and Doris Peters (family: Brittany Moyes, Curtis, Renee Gegen); his pet Mae; his daughter Alie Bammer; his sisters, Ann McGinnis (Tom) and Betty Erving; and his friend Billy Brandon. He was also cherished by his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren.
