It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolly J. Scarbrough of Mound City, Missouri, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Selma Smith; her siblings, Erma, Ruby, Mildred, Dorothy, Joe David, Eldon, Miriam, Wilma, Wayne, Herschel, Wiley, Raymond and Mary Lea; and her daughter-in-law Judi Scarbrough.
She is survived by: her husband Frankie Scarbrough; her children, Gary Scarbrough, Kay Sitherwood (Mark) and Marc Scarbrough (Dana); her sister Helen Derr; her grandchildren, Jason Scarbrough, Jodi Pecora (Mike), Kasey Miles (Korey), Jeremy Sitherwood (Stephani), Mitchell Scarbrough and Jamie Short (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Reese, Andrew, Abigail, Frankee, Ryder, Jaeger, Jonas, Landon and River. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chamberlain Funeral Home (1705 Ridge Dr, Mound City, MO 64470). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
