It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna E. Rayhill of Mound City, Missouri, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas VanDeventer and Genetta VanDeventer (Stoner); and her siblings, Alma Blazer, Helen Austin, Dora Routh, Ralph VanDeventer and Bruce VanDeventer.

She is survived by : her children, Robin Rayhill and Susan Stewart; her grandson Darrin Stewart (Kim); her great grandchildren, Monte and Peyton; her great great grandchild Brailynn; her sister-in-law Iva VanDeventer; her nephew Tom VanDeventer (Samantha); and her nieces, Carol Brandon and Janet Cromer (Earl).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the River of Hope Fellowship.
