He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Phelps; his son Anthony Major; his stepchildren, Sue Havens (Shawn), James Washburn (Tracy), Zeb Roberts and Joe Roberts (Nicole); his siblings, Stephen Collins, Cynthia Cole, James Doring and Lori Hartung; his stepson Jimmy Ragan (April); his grandchildren, Nick Ragan (Katie), MacKenzie Rogers (Cole), Samantha Guilfoyle (Keenan), Landon Ragan and Lexi Ragan; his great grandchildren, Riley and River; his parent Dorothy Jean Doring; his daughter Chelsea Johnson; and also, Carl and Arlene Kraus.
