Gloria Dean Eddy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Dean Eddy of Mount Moriah, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ferris and Adebie Ferris (Laham); her husband Albert; her son George A. Eddy II; and her sisters, Clara Laham and Loretta Massad.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharla D. Eddy; her daughter-in-law Shannan Eddy; her grandchildren, Deena Ruiz (Bobby), Alyssa Jane Sparhawk (Brandyn Gale), Kaylah Eddy, Matthew Eddy and Kyle Eddy; her great grandchildren, Mila Gloria, Olivia Emmanuelle and Leonel Gabriel Ruiz; and her brother Maurice Ferris.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
