She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Pruitt; her children, Leslie Marie Ward (Pruitt) and Todd Allan Pruitt; her grandson Nathan D. Ward; her parents, Edwin Allan Killgore and Anna Marie Killgore (Berryman); and her brothers, Charles Killgore (Rita) and Robert Killgore (Judy).
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Daniel E. Ward and Leslie A. Pruitt; her siblings, Mary Warden (Thomas) and John Killgore (Lane); and her grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Ward, Ethan Pruitt (Alexia), Emily Pruitt Skoglund (Dan) and Sarah Grace Pruitt. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South Officiated (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
