She was predeceased by: her parents, Winifred McBride and Lloyd McBride; and her brother Lloyd McBride Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Phineas S. Gitta; her daughters, Deborah Gitta Elmore and Winifred Gitta; her grandsons, Robert Brown and John Gitta; and her great grandchild Rustin Gitta.
