He is survived by: his daughters, Karen L. Selby (Christopher) and Kathleen A. Smith (Todd); his siblings, Edward, James and Mary; his grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Jayna, Charity and Christopher Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Melody, Landon and Milo. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Red Bridge Baptist Church (4901 E Red Bridge Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
